In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of building a website from scratch using Wix Studio. From signing up to publishing your site, each step is carefully outlined to help you create a stunning web presence with ease.

Getting Started

Head to the Wix Studio website and click on the "Start Creating" button to create an account.

After signing up, you'll be redirected to your Wix Studio dashboard, where you can manage projects and access features.

Launching the Editor

In your dashboard, click on "Create New Site"

Choose "Studio Blank Canvas" to enter the Wix Studio Editor.

The Wix Studio Editor is the place where you will be able to create websites with a wide range of customisation.

Let’s try creating a website from scratch!

To start of let’s start with changing the LOGO

Click on the existing logo element to select it.

Double-click to open the text editor

Rename it according to your requirement

Changing the background image:

Adding More Content

Let’s try inserting Text into the Website.

Click on the plus icon on the top left.

Select the text icon from the side menu.

You can see the text box that has been added to the website

Position and customize the text using the options on the right.

You have options to change the Font, Color, Alignment and much More.

Wix allows you to design for different screen sizes with just a click

Use the default breakpoints for desktop, tablet, and mobile views to preview how it looks in different screen sizes

Drag resize handles to preview your design on various screen sizes.

Adding Sections

Wix offers prebuilt sections that you can insert into your layout. A lot of reusable elements are included in the library so that you don’t have to create everything from scratch.

To add a section to our website, Click on the plus icon again.

Navigate to "Sections"

You can see the different categories and the available components for the same

Choose a section of your liking and Drag and drop the section onto your webpage.

Adding a Footer Element

Footers are an important part of every website. Next, let's move on with adding a footer to our website.

First Remove the default footer by clicking on it and pressing the Delete Key on your keyboard

To Insert a new footer click on the plus icon, navigate to Sections>footers and select a footer of your choosing.

Drag and drop the selected footer style onto your webpage.

Customize the footer details to match your website content.

Preview and Publish

Click on the "Preview" icon on the top right to see how your site looks in real time.

This is where you can have a Live preview of how the website will look before publishing it

Publishing your website:

After you have made all the necessary changes and done with the designing part. It is now time to Publish it for the world to see.

Click on the "Publish" button located at the top right.

You can either use the free domain provided by Wix or add a custom domain of your choice.For the scope of this tutorial let's go with choosing the free domain.

And that’s it. This is how easy it is to create a website with Wix and that too without any Code!

Now to get started, Go to WhatsForm.com.

After Youʼve logged in here we are on our WhatsForm page. Click on +New WhatsForm.

Put in your WhatsApp number, choose your language and click next click on Next.

Next, click on Start from Scratch

For The sake of this video let's imagine we are an AC company. Let's set up a form to collect the names of the customers allowing them to choose from the three different services that we offer, which are: New Installation, Maintenance Service and buying used ACs

Creating the Whatsform form is pretty straightforward. The video linked above provides a detailed explanation.

Now that we are done creating the form, Simply click on the publish button and your form is now live.

Click on the share button to get the link to the form button to get the link to the form afterwards.

You can proceed to add the link to your WhatsApp reply so that the customers are able to view the link when they send a message.

Next, let's see how we can use Whatsauto to automate replies based on the keywords that the user sends.

Download the What Auto app from the Play Store and log in using your Business WhatsApp number.

Then set in custom reply and save and click on the menu tab click on the menu tab click on custom reply

In the menu tab, click on custom reply. this is where we set the replies using the incoming keywords. For example, we can use the incoming message as trigger to send a reply accordingly on the custom reply page

Click on the plus icon at the bottom.

Type the Incoming Keyword. This is the word that the user will send based on the form response that we have created using Whatsform. It will be used to automatically send a pre-typed reply. The Reply Message field is used to set the text that will be sent when the user sends that particular keyword.

For example, we will set the Incoming Keyword as AC Installation Service and the Reply message as Kindly Share Your Location Details.  So whenever the user fills the form and chooses AC installation Service the reply message to Send their location will be sent automatically.

letʼs set the custom replies for all the other tests

Tags can be used to add dynamic text to the reply message such as adding the senderʼs name or other parameters.

Under match options you will be able to see Exact Match and Contains selecting exact match will only send the reply message if only the exact keyword is sent by the customer and Contains will send the reply if the keyword is included in any part of the message

Select reply alert checkbox if you want to receive notification via mail when a custom reply is sent and that is it.

Now let's see it in action we are the customer trying to contact the business letʼs send a message to the account.

We got the form as a response. Letʼs open it fill in the required details click on submit

After Submitting, You can see as we chose the install option, We got the prompt to share the location

We are looking to show you what chatbots are, the different types of chatbots, and which type of chatbot is the right fit for your website!

What is a chatbot? A chatbot is a conversational widget that simulates human chat!

We initially started with online messaging platforms, involving two human parties on both sides.

And that has evolved into chatbots as we see them today!

Do you still need chatbots in 2024? Absolutely! Almost every customer-facing website today has an in-built chatbot as part of its interface!

What are the different types of chatbots? There are two main different types of chatbots!

They are rule-based and AI-powered chatbots.

Rule-based chatbots are also known as logic-based or flow-based chatbots and they follow a set of pre-defined rules.

On the other hand, AI-based chatbots use artificial intelligence to answer user questions.

Which type of chatbot should you use? We're gonna go over examples of both types, right here!

This is collect.chat, a no-code tool that allows you to create rule-based chatbots for your website!

We log in and here is our dashboard.

Click on 'New Bot'.

Here, we can design our chatbot.

In the Script tab, we can see the pre-defined chatbot script, and make changes as well.

In the Share tab, we see the various sharing options available to us, including adding to website, WordPress and even emailing instructions to the developer!

Once you make all the changes you want, make sure to hit the 'Publish' button to commit your changes.

You can click the 'Preview' button to see a preview of your chatbot.

Another feature of collect.chat is the 'Email Notification', wherein you can add an email address to which responses to the chatbot will be sent.

In the settings, you can also change the type of the chatbot - either widget, chatbot page or embed.

That's how you create a rule-based chatbot with collect.chat!

Here we are on help.center, a no-code tool that allows you to create a quick help center for your website. These help centers feature AI search and an AI chatbot.

Here on the dashboard, we have the inbox.

And then we have the help center articles, which you can edit and add to.

In the settings, you can configure the look of the AI chatbot, by changing the icon and theme. You can also edit the widget links menu.

In the share menu, you have the option to share the URL of the AI chat or the knowledge base.

Or you can add the help.center widget or AI chat to your webpage by adding the corresponding code to your HTML code.

Here is how the AI chat of the help center looks.

Any question asked to the chatbot is checked with the help center knowledge base and an answer is generated.

On the dashboard of your store.link account is where you can find the help center, by clicking the question mark icon on the top right.

forms.app is a form-building website that allows you to create the forms you need, either completely from scratch or using their templates. One of its key features is the AI form builder, wherein you can put in a prompt detailing what kind of form you want, and it will be created in seconds!

This is the forms.app homepage. What we do first is sign in.

After signing in, we get to this dashboard. Here, you can see all your forms and you can even create folders of forms. We click 'Create Form'.

Here, we can either start from scratch or use one of the 4000 templates available. We're gonna be using the concert booking form template.

This is the form builder page. Here, you can see all the form building tools and settings.

To add a field to the form, all you need to do is drag and drop it into the page.

In the Design tab, you can change the theme of the page, as you can see here.

In the Logic tab, you can add logic to your form in different ways, in the form of conditions.  

Here, you can see the different settings of the form.

In the Connect tab, you can see the various integrations that forms.app offers. They are all categorized according to their use case.

Then we have the Results tab, detailing the form submission results.

Also here, we have the Responses tab, where you can see the responses to your form.

In the Share tab, you can see your form link. You can also add a custom domain. You have embedding options as well.

In the Embed menu, you can change the form width and height, and get the code required.

You can preview the form with the Preview option.

Next we're looking at the AI Form Builder.

We just type in the kind of form you want in the form of a prompt and click 'Generate with AI'.

And there we go the form is built automatically for us with all the required fields for the use case we defined!

Wordpress is a web development platform and if you want to run Wordpress locally on your PC, you can use WAMP.

First thing you do is search up 'wamp server' on google and select this link.

Here is the landing page of the WAMP website.

Download the 64 bit or 32 bit version, based on your requirement.

Click on 'download it directly'.

Open the downloaded file.

Let the installation complete.

Now WAMP is installed on your PC.

Launch WAMP from your desktop.

Then, in your taskbar, select WAMP and select Localhost.

Here, select PhpMyAdmin.

Here, in the login page, put 'root' as the username, and click 'Log in'.

This is the PhpMyAdmin page.

Click the Databases option. We're gonna create a database.

Put in a name for the database and click 'Create'.

Your created database shows up on the side.

Go to the folder where you downloaded WAMP.

Go to the 'www' folder.

Create a folder with the same name as the database you created.

Next we're gonna download Wordpress from 'wordpress.org'.

Click 'Download Wordpress'.

Unzip the downloaded file.

Copy the unzipped contents.

Paste them into the folder you created in the 'www' folder.

Next go to the URL 'localhost/wordpress'.

Choose your language.

Put in these details and click 'Submit'.

Run the installation.

Here fill in this information and 'Install Wordpress'.

Now Wordpress is installed.

On the next page, we log in.

And there you go, now you have Wordpress installed locally using a WAMP server!

WhatsApp is an online messaging platform, that allows you to easily keep in touch with the people in your life.

But in terms of conducting business, it's not really the most appropriate platform, That's why we turn to WhatsApp's more business-oriented offerings, WhatsApp Business and the WhatsApp Business API.  

Here are some of the major differences between the two platforms.

WhatsApp Business is geared more towards smaller businesses and day-to-day activities, whereas WhatsApp Business API is more for larger businesses.

WhatsApp Business API is used by businesses such as Flipkart and MakeMyTrip.

When you place an order or book something, the automated messages you get on WhatsApp are managed through WhatsApp Business API.

WhatsApp Business is free to use whereas WhatsApp Business API is not.

WhatsApp Business API has two types of conversations - user-initiated and business-initiated.

WhatsApp Business requires only a simple download and phone verification whereas WhatsApp Business API requires you to submit an application for verification.  

With WhatsApp Business, you can message anyone, anytime. WhatsApp Business API has unlimited messaging but only for the first 24 hours.

WhatsApp Business has limited sessions, one session per device and up to four devices.

WhatsApp Business API has unlimited sessions.

WhatsApp Business has manual messaging, while WhatsApp Business API has automated messaging with customizable no-code chatbots.

WhatsApp Business has no restrictions on promotional and transactional content.

WhatsApp Business API has no transactional content and only opted-in promotional content is allowed.

WhatsApp Business has no built-in integrations. WhatsApp Business API has multiple integrations.

The new Notion Projects update has a bunch of features to explore, revolutionizing project management on Notion.

First up, on the projects page, you can view a list of all active projects. Each project is accompanied by specific details in various fields.

Priority can be assigned to each project.

Projects can also be viewed in timeline view.

Dependencies can be drawn between projects in timeline view.

There is a 'Mine' tab in the Projects page which shows you all the projects which include you.

Next up, is the Tasks page where all the project tasks are listed.

These can be viewed in a board view as well.

Next up is the Sprints page.

Here, Sprints can be planned and executed efficiently.

Sprints can also be viewed in timeline view and moved up or down.

The Sprint board is used specifically for Sprint planning.  

A new cool AI feature of Notion Projects is AI Autofill. This works in the Summary field of the Projects page. Just select the particular field and click Update.

AI writes out a summary about the particular project from information already given.

There are also various integrations possible.

Runway.ml is a platform that provides several AI editing tools for your videos.

Once you log in, you get a menu of all the available tools.

First off, we are looking at the Gen 1 Video to Video generation.

We are using the provided demo assets for our tutorial.

Here, we have a skydiving video as our subject.

The way it works is you type in what you want to convert the video to. Here we give the prompts 'animated, cartoon, colourful'.

The result is produced a cartoon version of the original video.

Next, we try the prompt 'cloudy'.

The result is accurate.

The next tool we are looking at is Text to Color Grade.

Here we use a demo asset of a lady in a marketplace.

We type in the prompt 'the golden hour'.

And the video is color-graded to reflect the prompt.

We try another prompt 'late evening'.

We get the video color-graded to reflect the prompt.

The next tool we are checking out is Inpainting. Here you can remove elements from videos by just painting over them.

Here we are trying to remove the surfer from the shot.

The inpainting is carried out and the surfer is removed from all frames.

In this next example, we see a group at a train station.

We are trying to remove the bin in the background.

And just like that, the bin is removed from all frames.

The last tool we are checking out is Remove Background.

Just select the subject and it will mask them out.

The subject is extracted, and the background is removed.

This is how you can convert a Figma design into a Framer website in minutes!

Figma is a platform on which you can design UI for websites, apps, etc.

Framer is a platform where websites can be designed and published efficiently.

We start off by going to the Figma community and finding a UI design we can use for our tutorial.

Here we have an agency concept website design we can use.

We click 'Open in Figma'.

Here we have the design opened up in Figma.

Select the whole design and go into the plugins menu in the top left. Select 'Figma to HTML with Framer' and click 'Run'.

Now the Figma layers are copying.

In the pop-up, click 'Copy to Clipboard'.

This is our Framer canvas.

Do 'Ctrl+V' or paste into the canvas. Here you can see the Figma layers are uploading.

Resize the canvas to fit the design.

Now our Framer design is ready, edits can be made to individual elements.

One cool feature of Framer is the element effects that can be added.

After all edits, you can publish your website, either to a Framer domain or custom domain.

If you upgrade your plan, you can connect a custom domain.

Google Forms to Notion (https://formtonotion.com) is a tool that allows you to connect Google forms and send data to Notion tables.

You can also embed Google forms in your Notion pages with this tool.

First off we create a Contact Form page in Notion.

Add the fields you want.

Install the Form to Notion add-on to your browser.

Next, create a Google form that has the same fields as your Contact Form page in Notion.

Then go to the top right and click the plugin button and choose 'Form to Notion'.

Then choose 'Connect to Notion'.

In the bottom right window, click 'Connect to Notion'.

Then select the pages.

Choose your Contact Form page.

The connection is now successful.

Next, choose the specific Notion table in the bottom right, here it is Contact Form.

Match the Google form fields to the Notion page fields.

Click 'Next' and a sample response will be sent.

Here you can see in the Notion page, the sample response was received. The connection is verified.

In order to activate the integration completely, a subscription fee is to be paid.

After the payment, the integration is now active.

Let's test it out by filling out our Google form with test responses.

The contact form has been updated accordingly.

Another feature of the tool is 'Embed in Notion'.

Copy the embed link given. You can choose either a light mode or dark mode embed.

In a new Notion page, embed the form.

Now, page visitors can fill the form directly on Notion.

This Notion page can also be shared around to potentially interested parties.

Using Midjourney, ChatGPT and EditorX, you can generate website designs, generate website content AND build your website, with absolutely no code!

We start on the Midjourney Discord server. Midjourney is a text-to-image AI, wherein users input what they want to draw and the AI outputs a result.

In one of the allotted image generation channels, all you need do is type /imagine followed by what you want to draw.

Here you can see we've generated a few images of cats eating spaghetti. Behold the power of technology.

But our goal here is to generate website designs, so we put in the above prompt for a skateboard website.

This is the result of the given prompt. It's skateboard-related but not exactly a website design.

So we modify our prompt, adding some modifiers to specify the type of result we want. We also stipulate the exact version of Midjourney we require and the amount of creativity to be put in it.

And now we have some results which are more website-like. But not quite exactly what we need.

Next, we have some more modifiers.

And now we have more ideal and cool-looking website designs.

We see a design we like so we click on V4 to create variations on the fourth design.

Out of the four variations generated, we single out the one we like the most.

We click on U4 to generate an upscaled version of it.

And there we have the website design we need. We right-click and save it locally.

Next we move on to ChatGPT, which is an AI chatbot, designed to answer users' queries.

We put in our prompt, asking the AI to generate all the content required for a website.

Here you can see the website content that has been generated specifically for a skateboard website.

Next, we take our website design into Adobe Photoshop. We need to make some modifications.

First we crop off whatever part of the design we do not need.

Next, we take the spot healing brush tool.

We start running the tool over any part of the design that we do not need, such as the placeholder text.

Now we have our design exactly how we want it AND we have our website content. All that's left is to put these two elements together.

This is EditorX, an online no-code website builder. We sign in and select a blank canvas.

We add an image element, and import our website design.

We adjust our design to fit in the page.

Next, we modify the rest of the page to match the design, changing up the colors.

Then finally we bring in the content generated by ChatGPT, and situate it on our page aesthetically.

Whatsform is a tool that allows you to build forms that can be shared through WhatsApp for various use cases.

We start off by signing in to Softr and here we can see the various templates at our disposal. But our goal is to create a client portal, so we select that option.

Here we can see the template details. We select Use Template.

Here we can see we need to connect our Softr template to our Airtable. So we sign in to our Airtable account.

Once you sign in to Airtable, we have our workspace where database will be stored.

Back in Softr, in order to connect our Airtable, we need the Airtable API key.

So we go into settings on Airtable and copy the API key given there and paste it into Softr.

Back in Softr, we need to copy the client portal template database to our Airtable account.

In Airtable, we choose the workspace to which the template database is copied to.

Here we have the template database in our Airtable.

In Softr, we click Create Application.

And here is our client portal template on display.

Now we move over to Whatsform where we are gonna create the form that will be sent to our potential customers on WhatsApp.

We click Start from scratch.

Here is our blank Whatsform canvas.

We select what all fields we need from our Airtable database and create a form with those questions.

Once our form is created, we need to connect it to our Airtable database, so that the responses from the form will be added to the database. We go into the Whatsform integrations and choose Webhook.

Here it says we need the webhook endpoint URL.

Back in Airtable, we go into the Automation tab. Here we select Add trigger and choose When webhook received.

Here we copy the URL on the right hand side.

We paste that URL into the Whatsform integration webhook menu.

Then we add each of our questions fields and assign separate keys to them. For example, the Name field is assigned the key 'name'.

Then we save these settings.

Back in the Airtable automations tab, we select Run actions and choose Create record.

Then on the right hand side, we select the table we need.

Then one-by-one we add the various fields mentioned in the webhook settings.

Then for each of these fields we link them using the keys we assigned.

Now we've added all the fields and keys.

Now we switch the automation on and go back into our Whatsform settings.

Here we go the link of the Whatsform.

We fill in some sample details to test the Whatsform-Airtable webhook connection.

These details are then sent to the WhatsApp number of the form creator.

And here in the Airtable we can see the responses from the Whatsform have updated in the database, showing the integration is successful.

And here in the client portal itself, a card has been added to reflect the sample client's details.

Now that we've set up the Whatsform-Airtable-Softr integration, we just need to customize our client portal to fit our needs. Here we can see that we edit an element on the page by just clicking on it and an edit menu slides in on the right.

We change up the colour of the headers using the Background color setting.

We change up the title and tagline to reflect our needs.

We also change up the services section to showcase our fictional constructions company's services.

On the left here, we see the pages menu, which lists the various pages of the client portal.

Then we see the theme menu, where various settings can be changed.

In the users menu here, we see the various sample users that have been added to the client portal.

And here we see listed, the various user groups that will be accessing the portal.

You can also add users manually by entering their name and email and either sending them a magic link or generating a temporary password.

Back to the left side of the interface, we have the settings menu, displaying the various settings that can be accessed and modified.

Once you are done customizing your client portal, you can preview it in three formats - desktop, tablet and mobile phone.

Then you can come back to the Softr studio and publish your client portal, either to a custom domain or to a Softr domain.

And that's how you create a client portal on Softr and make it so that customers from WhatsApp can be directly funneled into it through Airtable!
